Event of 2004 December 30

 
Two fast coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed that day: the first at 10:57 UT (speed: 1247km/s) and the second at 22:30 UT (speed: 1035km/s). The first CME was a partial halo and the second one was a halo. There also were two powerful X-ray flares (class: M4.2 and M2.2). Those flares were located in active region NOAA 10715.
