A fast halo coronal mass ejection (CME) was observed at 12:06 UT on November 4. Its speed was 1208 km/s. Another very fast CME (speed: 2657 km/s) occurred at 19:54 UT on the same day and it was associated with a class X28.0 X-ray flare. The flare started at 19:29 and ended at 20:06 UT. It was located in active region NOAA 10486 (S19° W83°).

The third fast CME was measured at 16:54 UT on November 5 and it was accompanied by class C1.9 X-ray flare. There also were two class M X-ray flares during the day.
