Event of 2003 May 31

 
A halo coronal mass ejection (CME) was observed at 02:30 UT on May 31. Its speed was 1835 km/s and it was associated with class M9.3 X-ray flare. The flare occurred during 02:13-02:40 UT and it was located in active region NOAA 10365 (S07° W65°).
