2003 March 17-19

 
A fast coronal mass ejection (CME) occurred at 19:54 UT on March 17. Its speed was 1020 km/s and it was associated with powerful class X1.5 X-ray flare. The flare started at 18:50 and ended at 19:16 UT.

The second and the third fast CMEs were observed at 12:30 and at 13:54 UT on March 18. The second CME was associated with powerful class X1.5 X-ray flare. The flare was located in active region NOAA 10314 (S15° W46°). An intense halo CME was also measured at 02:30 UT on March 19.
