A fast halo coronal mass ejection (CME) (linear speed: 864 km/s) occurred at 14:54 UT on December 13. It was accompanied by powerful X-ray flare (class: X6.2). The flare started at 14:20 and lasted 15 minutes. It was located in NOAA active region 9733 (N16° E09°). There also were two class M X-ray flares during December 13.
