The solar event was associated with a full halo coronall mass ejection (CME) and a C9.7-class flare. The location of the flare was N16°W66°. Type 2 radio waves were observed between 15:45-16:00 UT and type 3 radio waves between 15:15-15:35 UT. The proton release time was 15:34 UT ±5min .
