- A relation between dynamics of coronal mass ejections and production of solar energetic particle, Astronomy and Astrophysics, v.370, p.1064-1070, 2001
event of 1997 November 3
An impulsive coronal mass ejection (CME) was observed first at 05:28 UT and its speed was 297 km/s. The CME was accompanied by X-ray flare, Hα flare and type II and IV radio bursts. The Hα flare started at 04:34 UT, type II radio bursts at 04:38 UT and type IV radio bursts at 04:56 UT. There were probably two close CME+SEP events on November 3.
