A small solar eruption was associated with an impulsive X-ray-flare and a
coronal mass ejection (CME). The event is considired as mixed-impulsive. The flare was located S10°
W30° and it was a class X2.6. The flare started at 09:01 UT and ended at
09:49 UT. The maximum X-ray flux was measured at 09:12 UT. A type 2 radio
burst was observed at 09:11-09:13 UT. At 09:55 UT the counting rates of
the ERNE High Energy Detector (HED) started to rise and it was the start
of the SEP event. ERNE Low Energy Detector's counting rates started to
rise about one hour later.
